Do you accept advanced tee times?
We do not accept tee times, it’s first come first tee off. Please be sure to check the Course Calendar to determine if the course is booked for Golf Leagues or Tournaments.
Is there a golf pro associated with Jamestown Golf Course?
No, there are no golf lessons at the course.
Are there any practice facilities?
There is a practice putting green, but no driving range or driving net.
Are gift certificates available?
Yes, we can provide gift certificates during course season, please call 401-423-9930.
What types of credit cards are accepted?
Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted as payments.
Are Discounts available?
There are no discounts accepted for Seniors or Military.

Can you bring your own beer/alcohol?
No BYOB allowed. All alcohol must be purchased on site.
What is the age limit for golfing? For driving golf cart?
You must be at least 8 years old to play golf, and must be 16 years old to drive a golf cart.
Do you allow for caddies?
No caddies allowed on the course, nor are we associated with any caddy services..
How do I schedule an outing for my group?

Do you have rental clubs available?
Yes, we have rental clubs available for $5 per day.
Local Rules & Etiquette
USGA rules govern all play
- Only golfers allowed on course – no caddies.
- Each player must have a bag and a set of clubs.
- Please keep pace with group ahead of you or allow faster players to play through.
- Play only one ball. No mulligans (yeah right…!)
- No glass coolers on course. No B.Y.O.B.
- Please rake traps, repair divots and ball marks on greens.
- 10 stroke limit. If you have not reached the green within 10 strokes, pick up your ball and proceed to the next tee.
- Be conscious of the 2 minute lost ball rule.
- We encourage continuous putting.
- No fivesomes without permission.
- Please observe golf cart signs. Absolutely no carts permitted 30 feet from greens and tees.
- Second round players alternate with first round players, except during tournaments.
- Rangers and starters are provided for the benefit of all golfers. Golfers must follow their instructions.
- Yardage markers are measured to the center of the green.
- Blue= 200 yards White 150 yards Red = 100 yards
- Out-of-bounds is defined by white stakes, white lines and street curbs.
- All yardages are measured to the center of the greens.
- Please observe all cart and directional signs for safety and course care.
- Proper golf attire is required at all times.
- Read cart instructions before operating.

The golfer assumes all risk and danger incidental to the game of golf, including without limitation, the risk of being struck by golf balls or golf clubs and releases Jamestown Golf Course from any and all liabilities, damages, costs and expenses.
